Vaniqa – Women’s Facial Hair Treatment

Vaniqa (eflornithine topical) is a topical cream which is commonly prescribed to women to help reduce the growth of unwanted facial hair and improve their skin's appearance.

Women and facial hair:

Many women will suffer from the growth of unwanted facial hair at some point during their lifetime. Most often this occurs in women who are either pre-menopausal or who are experiencing menopause. Unwanted facial hair can grow due to the reduction of the estrogen hormone in the body.

How Vaniqa can help with Unwanted Facial hair?

Vaniqa has been clinically proven to reduce the growth of facial hair in women and should be used in combination with other hair removal efforts. While it is neither a cure for unwanted hair, nor will it remove unwanted hair, it can help curb the growth and improve the condition of your skin.

How to Take Vaniqa?

Only use this topical as directed to by your physician or pharmacist. Typically it will be directed to be applied two times per day with eight hours in between applications. Make sure that you wash and dry the area prior to applying and avoid applying near the mouth, ears or eyes. If you miss a dose do not double-dose, apply it at your next scheduled time.

How Does Vaniqa Work?

This topical cream works by affecting the chemicals in the hair follicles which attribute to hair growth, effectively slowing down the growth of unwanted facial hair and improving the health and appearance of the skin.

Side Effects of Vaniqa Include:

  • Temporary redness
